world cup 2010 analysis

South Africa is a beautiful country and has the potential to be an ideal place for the event. In the past South Africa has proved in hosting major sporting success events. The Rugby World Cup 1995 and the Cricket World Cup 2003 hosts South Africa were.

For the 2010 World Cup a success is, there are a number of challenges for South Africa. Every South African hopes that all stand together, is to ensure the success of the event!

Airport

OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to its capacity limits with the arrival of thousands of tourists, fans, players, media, etc. be tested, the flock to South Africa for this major event. Unfortunately, there are limited flights to the other South African International Airports (Durban, Cape Town and Lanseria). OR Tambo Int. Airport can be a major bottleneck. ACSA (Airport Company of South Africa) is currently working with projects to modernize the infrastructure. Will it be enough? Will it be completed in time?

Traffic

The main roads in South Africa are already more than busy. With a lack of suitable public transport, this can be a big disappointment for football fans to get the needs and return to the stadiums and. Maybe The Gautrain project is a success in alleviating congestion on the roads? Perhaps South Africa is a few extra holidays on those days when major soccer events to be implemented?

Crime

I hope that in the days building up to the start of the 2010 World Cup that South Africa come up with an ingenious plan to the crime problem should be addressed. This is a serious and possibly the biggest single reason why many football fans spend the World Cup to see the games on television, Internet or mobile phone in the safety of your own home. The crime problem must be solved as the No. 1 priority, the politicians, the judiciary, the Department of Safety and Security, Police, Correctional Services, and every citizen of South Africa. One gets the impression that the crime rate in South Africa is too high. Perceptions matter, weather it is not a true mirror image, or need South Africa to make a plan!

Stadiums

Will the stadiums be completed on schedule? You should. Progress has been delayed a few times of rising costs and striking workers.

Crowd Control

Will the local football fans behave inside and outside the stadium? There are have been cases of violence, as fans no tickets for a game and has been refused entry at the gates. Hopefully the security and crowd control is at a high level to ensure the safety of players and spectators.

Bafana Bafana

Bafana Bafana – South Africa's National Soccer Team. Will Bafana Bafana will be ready and up to their task of If competitive? Currently the team does not have a very good record against the winner of the competition 1 Class. I hope that they will not be a shame for South Africa.

Stream

Will ESKOM (the national electricity supplier) in a position to cope with the load? South Africa is currently experiencing some major Blackouts. Load Shedding Plans are to minimize the stock and the loss of electricity. It could, however, have a major impact on the hospitality services, Stadium lights, traffic, etc. I'm not sure whether there is enough time to add more power capacity, before the kickoff.

Conclusion:

I am ensure that South Africans, when all stand together and work hard, that the above challenges can be overcome! Let us give them our support!
