World Cup 2010

Will SBS be showing the 2010 world cup?

Or has it gone to pay tv. If it isn’t decided yet does anyone know when the decision is made

Yes, it’s been announced.

And also that new One channel will show other matches that aren’t just Australia, so we’ll see some good games between Portugal etc which we didn’t get in 2006 (then again, I wouldn’t have known about the Aus coverage for 06′ because I was in Thailand at the time).

Anyway, I’m pretty sure that SBS will own the main rights to the Australia matches. Channel One will have some great matches too.

Or, fly to South Africa! Argh that’d be nice.
